2025 Foto Roadmap

• Portfolios
  This will be our first paid Pro Feature. We plan to launch Portfolios before Foto becomes available in Apple and Android App Stores.

• Desktop
  We will start designing and developing the Desktop Version of Foto in 2025.

• Multiple Column Options on the Discovery Page
  We will allow users to set their Discovery Page to 1, 2, or 3 columns.

• Sharing outside of Foto
  We will add the ability to share a link to your profile and posts, helping Foto users share their content and accounts outside of Foto.

• More Upload Options
  We’ll add more ways to upload to Foto, including various mobile and desktop options.

• Multi-Image Posts
  Right now, you can only post a single image on Foto. We will be adding the ability to post up to 5 photos, and portfolios will be able to include 40 photos.

• Content Moderation
  We will make minor adjustments to our Content Moderation System to enhance its accuracy and implement an admin feature that allows humans to override the system when it makes an error.

• Editing Comments
  We will allow users to edit comments/replies made on Foto.

• Metadata
  Image metadata enables us to accomplish many exciting things, and we will launch features that leverage metadata in 2025. Most of these features will focus on expanding search functionality, while other metadata features will help label and tag photos correctly and protect copyright holders.

• More Discovery Features
  In 2025, we will introduce several new ways to discover new accounts on Foto. I won’t go into detail about each discovery feature, but we recognize the need to improve this area of Foto, and we will continue to enhance it moving forward.

• Notifications Page Redesign
  We will launch a redesigned Notifications Page for more efficient communication and management of social interactions.

• Adding DMs
  Some people love direct messaging, and others hate it. We will add DMs, but we will also allow users to turn them off completely.

• Another Pro Feature
  We will start on our second Pro Feature in 2026. This will likely be either the Shop Feature or the Post Scheduler—possibly both.

We may build many other items in 2025, but this is a solid list. Making exact plans is always tricky because life has a way of taking you down a path you don’t foresee. None of these features are set in stone, but these are things we are currently planning for.

Sprinkled throughout all of these features will be minor bug fixes.
